Hamoon Ghayebi aka KUDD was born in 1994 and currently lives in Rasht, Iran. His first experiences in music production came in beatboxing and writing lyrics for rap tracks. Like all young men of a certain demo, at some point Hamoon fell in love with the 90’s british electronic music movement, drum/n/bass, breaks, trip hop, dark ambient, synthwave, downtempo, the tracks of The Prodigy and Kruder & Dorfmeister, Massive Attack, Portishead.

Adorned by hardcore industrial samples, these influences wash out on his 1999 EP: the introspective lo-fi breakbeat of “Brussels”, loop & twisted mayhem of “Knowledge”, and dance to the sunrise in a forest of emotional layered synth-work of “Call”. We welcome the sounds of Persian lof-fi to the house of clipp.art.
