If you aren’t already familiar with VONDA7 - the Polish born artist and driving force behind the ART | WERK imprint, has been busting bringing bang (with a side serve of fun) back to Berlin’s house and techno over the last few years. Influenced by new disco, melodic house, Detroit and Chicago underground, retro-synthwave, big bass, vintage and dusty sounds, hip hop, r&b, Lo-fi, sci-fi, Gigolo, Tresor, french house, uk house, caribbean, psychedelic indietronica, synthpop, garage, and always searching for new sounds and rhythms - in her own words: “I like to mix things up - like a salted caramel of electronic music, I'm tough enough”. As evidenced by her performances for FACT “Against the Clock” and Beatport “Studio Sessions”, bending & breaking the rules is VONDA7's modus operandi. Her debut on clipp.art puts this multi-disciplined approach on full flex, with the weird and wonderful late-night smasher “Chengdu Pandas”.
